Senior Software Engineer - web applications (Omaha, NE)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Amber Early Learning and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be web applications. You would join a large organisation of about 566 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about meal programmes into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with meal programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
