Senior Software Engineer - web applications (Oklahoma City, OK)

We are growing our team at Lumen Timber Insurance and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be web applications. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with customer complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Oklahoma City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
