Senior Software Engineer - web applications (Oklahoma City, OK)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Stone Energy and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be web applications. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about meter readings into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with meter readings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Oklahoma City. • We reply to every applicant.
