Senior Software Engineer - web applications (Miami, FL)

Cedar Bridge Telecom is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on web applications for outage reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with outage reports. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Miami. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
