Senior Software Engineer - web applications (Memphis, TN)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Cobalt Pharma Group and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be web applications. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Turn requests about batch records into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with batch records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Memphis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
