Senior Software Engineer - web applications (Little Rock, AR)

Lumen Birch Care Services supports families and individuals in Little Rock with personal care and coordination, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our web applications. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Turn requests about family communication into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Little Rock, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
