Senior Software Engineer - web applications (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Bright Ivory Health Partners and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be web applications. You would join a large organisation of about 775 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about clinic supplies into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with clinic supplies. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
