Senior Software Engineer - web applications (Honolulu, HI)

We are growing our team at Northwind Linden Facilities and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be web applications. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about work orders into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
