Senior Software Engineer - web applications (Grand Rapids, MI)

Lumen Fern Care Services Group is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on web applications. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about client records into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with client records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
