Senior Software Engineer - web applications (Fort Worth, TX)

Bluepeak Amber Medical Partners is a Fort Worth company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our web applications. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about training materials into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with training materials. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Fort Worth. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
