Senior Software Engineer - web applications (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Stone Health Group and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be web applications. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with referrals. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
