Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Virginia Beach, VA)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Summit Medical and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. You would join a large organisation of about 323 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with clinical evaluations. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
