Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Tucson, AZ)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Ivory Telecom and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with customer tickets. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Tucson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
