Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Toledo, OH)

Stonegate Bridge Transit Planning is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for survey data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about survey data into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with survey data. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Toledo. • We reply to every applicant.
