Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (St. Louis, MO)

Bright Bridge Transit Planning Group is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for accessibility audits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about accessibility audits into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in St. Louis. • We reply to every applicant.
