Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Spokane, WA)

We are growing our team at Lumen Hollow Energy and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Turn requests about meter readings into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with meter readings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Spokane. • We reply to every applicant.
