Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Seattle, WA)

Foxglove Drift Facilities is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for cleaning schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about cleaning schedules into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with cleaning schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
