Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Seattle, WA)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Facilities and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 147 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about safety inspections into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with safety inspections. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
