Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (San Jose, CA)

Rivermark Mill Facilities is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about work orders into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
