Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (San Diego, CA)

Westbrook Juniper Inspection Services is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for client sites, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about client sites into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with client sites. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
