Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Salt Lake City, UT)

Redstone Quill Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Salt Lake City design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about accessibility audits into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We reply to every applicant.
