Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Rochester, NY)

Nova Sable Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Rochester, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about licensing records into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with licensing records. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
