Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Rochester, NY)

Cedar Summit Early Learning Partners is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for licensing records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about licensing records into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with licensing records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
