Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Rochester, NY)

Ironwood Pine Community Partners is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for client intake, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about client intake into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with client intake. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
