Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Rochester, NY)

Westbrook Amber Medical Group is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for production lots, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about production lots into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with production lots. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
