Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Greenridge Vista Community Partners is a Seattle charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with client intake. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
