Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Silverline Meridian Legal Group Partners is a Charleston practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would join a large organisation of about 685 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Turn requests about client files into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with client files. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
