Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Highbridge Junction Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Boise. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about regulatory reports into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with regulatory reports. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Boise. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
