Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Northwind Harbor Telecom Group is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for customer tickets, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about customer tickets into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with customer tickets. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Fort Worth. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
