Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Ashton Inspection Services and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about equipment calibration into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with equipment calibration. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
