Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Bluepeak Stone Care Services Associates is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for caregiver training, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about caregiver training into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with caregiver training. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
