Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Bluepeak Analytics is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for patient education, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 1 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about patient education into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with patient education. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
