Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Fernwood Basin Legal Group is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for document review, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are a close group and share the work. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about document review into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with document review. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Orlando. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
