Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Lumen Union Legal Group is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for billing records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 81 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about billing records into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with billing records. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
