Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Foxglove Willow Insurance Partners is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for catastrophe response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about catastrophe response into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with catastrophe response. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
