Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Summit Fox Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Rochester, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. You would join a large organisation of about 555 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Turn requests about licensing records into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with licensing records. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
