Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Bright Willow Medical is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for device records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about device records into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with device records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
