Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Vista Community Partners and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Turn requests about client intake into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with client intake. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
