Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Lumen Wilder Pharma Group supports drug development and manufacturing around Omaha, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. People move between science and operations roles. What you will do • Turn requests about batch records into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with batch records. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
