Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Foxglove Beacon Financial serves customers across Spokane with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Turn requests about payment disputes into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with payment disputes. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Spokane. • We reply to every applicant.
