Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

We are growing our team at Summit Harbor Telecom and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Cleveland. • We reply to every applicant.
