Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Amberfield Harbor Care Services supports families and individuals in Austin with personal care and coordination, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about family communication into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
