Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Harborlight Meridian Health Group is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for patient scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Continuing education is supported. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about patient scheduling into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with patient scheduling. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
