Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Cobalt Learning Group and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about enrolment into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with enrolment. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
