Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Greenridge Bright Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Oklahoma City and nearby communities, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. You would join a large organisation of about 656 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Turn requests about meter reading into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Oklahoma City. • We reply to every applicant.
