Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Ironwood Sable Learning Group is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for learning materials, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 84 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Turn requests about learning materials into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with learning materials. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Boise. • We reply to every applicant.
