Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

We are growing our team at Silverline Ridge Water Authority and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Turn requests about treatment plant data into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
