Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Amberfield Junction Water Authority Group supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for St. Louis and nearby communities. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 170 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Turn requests about pipe repairs into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in St. Louis. • We reply to every applicant.
