Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Stonegate Fern Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Wichita. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. Clear communication between supervisors and crews matters. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about safety inspections into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with safety inspections. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
