Senior Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Raleigh, NC)

Clearpath Amber Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Raleigh. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 20 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about customer complaints into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with customer complaints. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Raleigh. • We reply to every applicant.
